I joined Potters Bar Photographic Society in October 2023. I’ve always enjoyed taking photos and despite having a decent camera, I knew I wasn’t using it to its full potential So, during the various Covid lockdowns, I completed an online photography course which taught me how to get off ‘auto’ mode as well as learning about some of the common photographic techniques.

I really enjoy going to the Club sessions, and have learnt so much, not just from guest speakers, but also from other Club members. I love taking photos of pretty much anything, but nature and landscape, in particular. Recently, I’ve been dabbling in ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and multiple exposure images and I was really pleased that one of these images won Projected Image of the Year (general class) in 2024.
