Every year The Society organises a fund-raising quiz night.  2024’s iteration was held on 27 April.  Nearly 90 Society members and their guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of brain exercise thanks to Gwen Hall’s wide-ranging questions.

The quiz is The Society’s main social and fund raising event of the year and everyone had an enjoyable time and, perhaps, even learned something.  The Society’s President, Helen Frost said “We are pleased to have made a healthy surplus on the night and we thank everyone who attended and made it such a worthwhile evening”.

The event also allowed a first main use for our public address system paid for by the Potters Bar Carnival.

The funds raised on the evening go a long way to defraying the Society’s running costs and help keep the membership subscriptions as low as possible.
