Let the show begin!

13 April 2025

Potters Bar and District Photographic Society (the society) now has its 76th Annual Exhibition in place at The Galleria shopping centre in Hatfield.

92 pictures from over 20 photographers are on display at the centre until the 27th April.  The Society’s Exhibition Secretary, Graham Adamson said, “Once again we are very grateful to The Galleria, Hatfield for giving us the opportunity to exhibit and show our members’ photographic work to the public.  It must be at least 12 years now we have held our annual display on the first floor and it is always well supported by family, friends and the general public.”

Prints range across almost every genre of photography including portraits, travel and wildlife.

Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite image in the exhibition and the highest vote wins the photographer the Hornby Trophy.

Tony Greener, Retail Manager at The Galleria added, “The Galleria is extremely excited to welcome back the Potters Bar and District Photographic Society for their 76th Annual Exhibition! We encourage members of the public to come and view  this vibrant display of photography from talented local artists. We are honoured to host and support this event and wish all the entrants good luck in the competition.”

The Society meets at Wyllyotts Theatre, Darkes Lane, Potters Bar on Monday evenings, starting at 7:30.  A prospective member may visit three times for free to see if they would like to join.  More information can be found here or on Facebook.
