………Simon Martindale.

During the two weeks of our 2025 Annual Exhibition over 300 votes were cast by member of the public for our pictures.  24 of those votes went to Simon Martindale’s picture “American Bald Eagle”.   Simon won both the Hornby Cup for the largest number of votes for a photograph by a General Class member and also the Exhibition Cup for the largest number of votes overall for a single photograph.

Our Exhibition Secretary, Graham Adamson, said “this was another successful exhibition and we wish to thank The Galleria for hosting us again.  Receiving over 300 votes from members of the public was a strong response to the show and reflects the quality of images that we offered.  This was the 76^th Annual Exhibition by The Society and we look forward to presenting the 77^th in 2026.”  The Galleria added “Great to have you back, congratulations to Simon for winning!”.
