Robert Snary from Enfield Camera Club came to the club last Monday to give us a light painting workshop.

Members bought along their tripods and cameras and set about learning this dark art!

16 enthusiasts participated and thoroughly enjoyed the evening as Robert danced up and down the room with various light strips  and a ‘hula hoop’ creating some amazing images.

Our new member Manjari Shah said

“I really enjoyed the light painting workshop. It’s not something I’ve done before, so it was great to try something new. Robert, who ran the workshop, guided us through the camera settings to use. He had an arsenal of light painting tools which enabled us to create very interesting and unique images. Photography can be quite a lonely hobby as you’re often out on your own so participating in the workshop with like-minded members of the club made it more of an enjoyable and social experience. I came away with some amazing photos that are completely different to anything I’ve taken in the past.”
