73rd Annual Print Exhibition now up at the Galleria

Now showing at The Galleria shopping centre for two weeks, The Society’s first exhibition of the year, and 73rd Annual Exhibition in its history, features nearly 90  pictures with a wide range of subjects and styles from 18 of The Society’s members.  The Society President, Graham Coldrick, said “we are very grateful to The Galleria for again allowing us the space for an exhibition.  It gives us the opportunity to show some of our best work while also letting members of the public vote for their favourite picture”.  A spokeswoman for The Galleria added “We welcome back our friends from The Society and look forward to our guests enjoying this exhibition”.

As usual two trophies will be awarded, The Hornby Cup to the Print receiving the most public votes and the Exhibition Cup to the most voted for Print from a member of the General Class.

Thank you to those members who came along on a very miserable and wet evening to help set the Exhibition up.

The winner of the Exhibition Cup ( Print with the most votes from the General Class) was

David Fordham for the second year running with his print ” The Rough and Smooth”
