Preparation of Projected Images

Image Size

The maximum dimensions for projected digital images, for internal competitions, are 1600 pixels in width by 1200 pixels in height (as shown in the figure below). If your images are larger than this they can easily be resized using photo editing software. Your image can be cropped to any shape you wish but it must fit inside the dimensions shown.

Instructions on how to export your image to the correct size using your editing software can be found by clicking on the Information menu at the top of this page and choosing Saving with Photoshop, Saving with Elements or Saving with Lightroom.



The name of the image file must be no more than 45 characters in length and made up of the image title, in capitals, followed by a space, then ‘by’ in lower case, then another space, followed by the author’s name in normal upper/lower case. Images must be saved as JPEG files (which will automatically add the ,jpg extension). A typical filename would therefore be:
