The maximum dimensions for projected digital images, for internal competitions, are 1920 pixels in width by 1080 pixels in height (as shown in the figure below). If your images are larger than this they can easily be resized using photo editing software. For instance, in Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 click on the ‘Image’ dropdown menu and select ‘Resize’, followed by ‘Image Size’. This will open a new window in which you just enter the required width/height; ensure that the ‘Constrain Proportions’ box is ticked in order to avoid distorting the image.
The filename must be no more than 45 characters in length and made up of the image title, in capitals, followed by a space, then ‘by’ in lower case, then another space, followed by the author’s name in normal upper/lower case. Images must be saved as JPEG files (which will automatically add the .,jpg extension). A typical filename would therefore be:
