It all started with Gareth Martin who put the club together after winning the monochrome award in the Welsh Salon for the second time, inspiring him to subscribe to “Black and White Photography” magazine. This influenced him in April 2010 to arrange a meeting and, on the first night, some 20 like-minded photographers turned up. Hence the birth of Cymru Monochrome.
The Mini Mono PI replaced the Only Mono Prints due to the Covid Situation and was judged by Kylie Ann Martin AFIAP BPE2 LDPS
20 clubs entered from around the country and the competition was streamed live on YouTube on Saturday at 2pm. The links to view this are below. Potters Bar came 10th in a close competition and the Judge obviously was drawn to gritty bearded men 🙂
